Uh Oh! Pauly D Is NOT Getting Along With His Babymama

Yesterday we learned the shocking news that former Jersey Shore star turned superstar DJ Paul Pauly D DelVecchio went and fathered a lovechild with a woman he met in Las Vegas, NV last year and earlier today we got our first look at the unplanned fruit of their loins. Right now, tho, we learn the equally unsurprising news that Pauly D and his babymama don’t really get along. In fact, they reportedly hate one another. According to TMZ, Pauly hasn’t even met his daughter yet and is looking to secure some kind of custody of the child. The babymama, one Amanda Markert, is reportedly going after Pauly for child support so … yeah, things aren’t going well at all for this couple. Yikes!

Pauly D and his baby mama are at war, TMZ has learned … and there’s a big fight over custody and cash. Sources connected to the baby mama and baby daddy tell TMZ … Pauly doesn’t think the woman is a fit mother — he points to the fact that she once worked at Hooters. He’s also concerned because the woman, who’s only 25 years old, has another kid. Pauly and the woman, who goes by Amanda, have filed dueling court docs. We’re told Pauly wants some sort of custody of his daughter — but the level of custody is unclear. Sources say Pauly has not seen the child, who was born in May, but obviously he’s looking to change that. We’re also told the baby mama is demanding child support … and even though Pauly says he’s ready and willing to step up and take care of the kid financially … he feels like she’s treating the kid like a winning lottery ticket. Exhibit A … the woman recently posed the baby in a high chair that’s covered in $100 bills. As for how they hooked up, we’re told it was one drunken night in Vegas … but the kid isn’t bringing them any closer. In fact, one source tells us they straight up hate each other.

Yeah, these kinds of relationships don’t always work out in a Happily Ever After scenario so nothing about any of this surprises me in the least. I must say, tho, that I find it laughably absurd that Pauly D (of all people) would look down on a woman as an “unfit mother” merely because she once worked at Hooters. I mean, I audibly LOLed when I read that. Clearly there is a bit of animosity between the two and, unfortunately, money tends to be the cause of such conflict between people. I’m sure Pauly wasn’t planning on being tied to this woman for years on end when he had sex with her but I hope he’s learned his lesson about practicing safe sex. Yes, it’s possible that the couple used birth control and it failed but we all know that’s not what happened. The sucky thing about all of this is the poor baby girl who is caught in the middle. Hopefully her parents will realize that she is the most important person to consider in all of this and her best interests will be taken care of. Ugh.
